In September 2023, Associate Professor Guorui Chen's team at the Key Laboratory of Artificial Structures and Quantum Regulation of the Ministry of Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, collaborated with Jeil Jung's team at Seoul National University, Korea, to publish an article in Nature titled 'Spontaneous broken-symmetry insulator and metals in tetralayer rhombohedral graphene'. The article demonstrates that crystalline multilayer graphene is an ideal platform for studying various symmetry breaking driven by Coulomb interactions.
In 2022, Prof. Xiaomu Wang and Prof. Yi Shi from Nanjing University published an article in Nature Communications titled 'Quantum Criticality of Excitonic Mott Metal-Insulator Transitions in Black Phosphorus.' The article reports on the spectroscopy and transport phenomena of excitonic Mott metal-insulator transitions in black phosphorus. Photoexcitation continuously modulates the interactions between electron-hole pairs. Fourier transform photocurrent spectroscopy was used to measure the integrated phase diagrams of the electron-hole states at different temperatures and electron-hole pair density parameter spaces as a probe.

In January 2024, the team of Yinbo Huang and Zhensong Cao from Anhui Institute of Optical Precision and Mechanical Research (AIPPRM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), published an article entitled "Atmospheric HDO Abundance Measurements in the Tibetan Plateau Based on Laser Heterodyne Radiometer" under the journal Remote Sensing published by MDPI. Plateau Based on Laser Heterodyne Radiometer". The article investigated the relationship between water vapour density and atmospheric motion by analysing the reverse trajectory of atmospheric transport. Prove experimentally that changes in H2O column density and HDO/H2O ratio are related to atmospheric motion.
In May 2024, the team of Guolong Chen and Wuyin Jin from Lanzhou University of Science and Technology published an article entitled "Lift-Off Effect of Koch and Circular Differential Pickup Eddy Current Probes" in Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering. The team used two planar eddy current probes (Koch and Circular) of the same size with differential pickup structure to compare the lift-off effect, and obtained the distribution of eddy currents of the probes under 0°and 90°crack disturbances by effective element analysis, which finally proved the advantages of the Koch probes in detecting 90° cracks at low lift-off distances.
In 2023, Yisheng Chai's team at the School of Physics, Chongqing University, and Sun Yang's team at the Quantum Materials and Devices Research Centre, Chongqing University, published an article in Physical Review entitled "Observation of enhanced ferromagnetic spin-spin correlations at a triple point in quasi-two-dimensional magnets" in Physical Review, which investigates and compares the magnetic field-temperature phase diagrams and spin-spin correlations of quasi-two-dimensional ferromagnetic Cr2Ge2Te6 and Cr2Si2Te6, and antiferromagnetic MnBi2Te4 by a sensitive composite magnetoelectric method. correlations are investigated and compared.
In 2023, the team of Prof. Zhong Chen and Prof. Yijun Lu from the Department of Electronic Science, College of Electronic Science and Engineering, Xiamen University published a paper in IEEE entitled "Study on the Carrier Lifetime of RGB Mini-Light-Emitting Diodes Based on Phase-Sensitive Detection".It is the first time to propose a differential carrier lifetime (DLT) measurement method for electroluminescent LEDs, which has the advantages of high noise immunity and low measurement error with measurement currents as low as 0.1mA, and also obtains the junction capacitance and differential resistance of LEDs.
