WEIZMANN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE, Israel is one of the world's leading multidisciplinary research centers, with Nobel Prize, Fields Medal and other honors, countless patents for inventions, and the world's highest income from technology transfer fees ($35 billion a year), with about 2,500 scientists, post-doctoral fellows, PhD and M.Sc. students, and staff responsible for science, technology and administration. D. and M.Sc. students, as well as staff responsible for scientific, technical and administrative matters.
Professor Grover's research group at the Weizmann Institute of Science needed multi-channel high-precision synchronous parallel distributed phase-locked amplification measurement technology for their scientific research. After in-depth exchanges between the researchers at the Institute and our engineers, they finally determined that SSI was able to provide them with the best technological solution, and therefore chose to sign a contract with SSI, and indicated that they would promote this technology to their international counterparts.
Figure 1, multi-channel synchronized measurement technology scheme
In this project scheme, AAI provides a unique USB2.0 data collector based on FPGA synchronous processing technology, which can realize synchronous measurement and data synchronous transmission of up to 6 sets of dual-channel lock-in amplifier OE1022D (equivalent to 12 sets of SR830 synchronous measurement data, with a synchronous time accuracy of 1mS), and if it works with the company's 8-channel lock-in amplifier, it can realize Synchronous measurement of 64 channels (USB3.0 technology is required for 64 channels); this instrument also contains some special harmonic measurement functions, such as demodulation of measurement signals similar to the combination of a*f1+b*f2 frequencies, to achieve a variety of combinations of measurements with auxiliary AD and synchronization signals. This technology has special applications in fields such as superconductivity and quantum computers.
