Applied physics is an important bridge between science and technology, and the vigorous development of applied physics research is of great significance to the development of science and technology and social progress in China. In order to actively contribute to the construction of a strong science and technology country, give full play to the key role of physics research in promoting scientific and technological innovation, and promote academic exchanges and cross-fertilisation between scientific researchers engaged in frontier research in basic and applied physics and industrialists, the Chinese Physical Society, in conjunction with the Center for Applied Physics of the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IAP) and the Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center (YRDPRC), intends to organise the First Conference on Applied Physics on March 28-31, 2024, in Liyang, Jiangsu, China. Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Centre to hold the First Conference on Applied Physics. The conference will provide an open, high-quality and efficient academic exchange platform for researchers in applied physics and related fields, promote cross-border cooperation and exchange among various fields, and jointly promote original and leading technological innovations oriented to national strategic needs.
