Applied physics is an important bridge between science and technology, broadly speaking, it belongs to the cross-disciplines that are being vigorously developed at present, and it is of great significance to vigorously develop applied physics research for the development of science and technology and social progress in China. In order to actively contribute to the construction of a strong science and technology country, give full play to the key role of physics research in promoting scientific and technological innovation, and promote academic exchanges and cross-fertilization between researchers engaged in frontier research in basic and applied physics and industrialists, the Physical Society of China (PSOC), in collaboration with the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UEST) and the Center for Applied Physics (CAP) of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPS), will organize the Second Conference on Applied Physics (CAP) on 10-13 April 2025 at the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UEST) to organize the 2nd Applied Physics Conference. The conference will provide an open, high-quality and efficient academic exchange platform for researchers in applied physics and related fields, promote cross-border cooperation and exchange among various fields, and jointly promote original and leading innovations oriented to national strategic needs.
